About Me

Hi there! My name is Jess and I'm 24 years old from South West Victoria. 

I purchased my first DSLR camera when I was 15 years old; a Sony a57 with a Tamron zoom lens. I loved taking photos at sports events so I needed a zoom lens to reach those far away subjects plus something with a fast shutter speed as well.

Once I entered VCE Visual Arts I knew that I wanted to learn how to use my DSLR to its full potential after seeing the small snippet of creative power they hold.

 After I graduated high school I had a gap year to work and save up enough money to move to Melbourne to study photography in 2016.

While living in Melbourne I was able to immerse myself in everything photography and art; this was the perfect opportunity for me to grow and flourish as a young photographer.
